What is the Neuromatrix Headset?
The Neuromatrix Headset is a non-invasive wellness device that pulses infrared light into the brain. It uses the sciences of photobiomodulation (PBM) – modifying brain function with light – to support cognitive function, mental clarity, and overall brain health.
How does it work?
The headset delivers low-level near-infrared light to the brain, stimulating cellular activity, improving blood flow, and reducing inflammation. This process supports focus, mood, sleep quality, and mental recovery.
Is it safe?
Yes. Photobiomodulation is widely studied and considered safe when used properly. Infrared LED devices are non-invasive, gentle and considered safe for general consumer use. The Neuromatrix is designed for daily use with minimal risk of side effects.
How often should I use it?
Most users benefit from 10–30 minutes per session, 3–5 times per week. You can adjust frequency based on your personal goals and response.
Will I feel anything during a session?
Most users feel relaxed or slightly energized after use. Some people feel flow of sensation in the body. The light is not hot or painful – the experience is subtle and comfortable.
Can it treat medical conditions?
No. The Neuromatrix Headset is designed for general wellness and high performance. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any medical condition.
How long until I notice results?
Most users report feeling sharper or more focused and energized within the first week. For others, benefits like improved sleep or mood become more noticeable after consistent use over several weeks.
I only see two LEDs lighting up on the headset. Is this correct?
Yes. These two lights provide a visual indication that the headset is turned on, and the remaining LEDs emit near-infrared light, which is outside the visible spectrum. The headset is working if the indicator lights are on.
Is there a warranty or return policy?
Yes. We offer a one year warranty and a 60 day return policy. We charge a 10% restocking for returns within 30 days after delivery, and 20% restocking fee within 60 days after delivery.
Can anyone use the headset?
The headset is intended for adult use. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have photosensitivity, consult a healthcare provider before use.
How do I return the headset?
