Bio
Dr. Sanjay Manchanda is an expert in neuroscience, neurotechnology, and integrative wellness. Originally trained as an electrical engineer and computer scientist, he left his role as a university professor in response to an inner calling to study the mind and consciousness. For over thirty years, he has combined scientific rigor with deep training in meditative traditions and in various mind and body based psychotherapies.
As a clinician and educator, Dr. Manchanda specializes in psychospiritual integration, neurofeedback, brain stimulation, and photobiomodulation (PBM). He works with individuals to achieve peak cognitive performance, support recovery from brain injury, enhance mood, and access deeper meditative states and self-transformation—drawing on both advanced technology and holistic methods.
Dr. Manchanda has presented his research at leading conferences on consciousness and technology, and teaches at several universities including the California Institute of Integral Studies and the California Institute of Human Science. At Neuromatrix Health, he leads research into novel uses of photobiomodulation and the development of next-generation brain wellness devices. He is dedicated to making neurotechnology practical and accessible, helping people achieve better cognitive function, resilience, and quality of life. -

Bio
Robert Alexander is Chief Operating Officer at Neuromatrix Health, where he puts his background in science, technology, and product leadership to work building tools for brain health. He holds a Ph.D. in Design Science from the University of Michigan and moonlights with NASA, turning satellite data into sound to uncover new insights through a process known as data sonification. His work and projects have been featured in outlets including Rolling Stone, Scientific American, National Geographic, VICE, and BBC World News.
Previously, as a Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Michigan, Robert led cross-disciplinary teams to turn research and ideas into practical products and programs. He also led the psychology stream for the MScMET program at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, where he taught courses on globalization and design psychology. He also co-founded and raised venture financing for a digital health startup focused on breath-based biofeedback.
At Neuromatrix Health, Robert oversees operations and product strategy, making sure new neurotechnology gets into people’s hands safely and effectively. Outside of work, he’s a lifelong meditator and multimedia artist, and believes technology for well-being should be beautiful, evidence-based, and available to everyone.
